Welcome to Destination Oak!  Amenities, decor, and convenience all combined with our guests in mind!  Enjoy the comforts of home with a fully stocked kitchen, plush bedding, and plenty of seating in common areas to catch up with friends and family.  The sparkling pool (Heat Optional $55/Night), chaise lounges, and BBQ will have you feeling vacation vibes in no time! Put on your best poker face and challenge your pals to a high stakes Texas Hold'em tournament around the poker table.  Cozy up in front of the fireplace with candle light ambiance for quiet conversation or dive into the pages of that book you just can't put down.   This property is dog friendly! Please request pool heat 24-48 hrs prior to arrival.

The master bedroom is split from the other three bedrooms and boasts plenty of space and privacy.  With a king bed, ensuite bathroom, and chic love seat you'll have all the room you need to unpack your bags and make yourself at home. All bedrooms have a Smart TV to stream your favorite apps.  Two of the guest bedrooms have queen beds, and the third has 2 twins. The sectional sofa in the living room is a sleeper sofa and Destination Oak can accommodate a total of 10 guests. 

Good Life Vacation Homes has you covered during your stay with fresh bed linens and plenty of towels.  Shower essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hairdryer are in each bathroom.  Our homes have a welcoming supply of paper goods, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, and laundry supplies including an iron and ironing board.  If there is anything you need just ask!

Be sure to check out the scene on Mill Avenue near the Arizona State University campus.  Tempe Town Lake has paths for walking and biking, and boat rentals are available to get out on the water.  Papago Park, Camelback Mountain, and Piestewa Peak are popular hiking trails that range in difficulty. 
Old Town Scottsdale has great eats, shopping, and the hottest nightlife venues.  Spend the day strolling the streets of Old Town and checking out the many art galleries and souvenir shops.  North Scottsdale hosts some of the biggest events in the Valley such as the Barrett Jackson Car Auction, The Arabian Horse Show, and The Waste Management Open at the TPC Golf Course. Join us for Spring Training throughout the entire month of March when we host your favorite baseball teams all around The Valley.  
Downtown Phoenix and the district known as Roosevelt Row has become an eclectic hot spot for artists, musicians, and foodies.  First Fridays is a must-do for art lovers, and The Pemberton features food trucks, music, and pop-up shops around the property of a historical home. You have to try the chicken sandwich at The Strada food truck!  Murals are painted throughout the "RoRo" scene and showcase the diverse, creative community that is Phoenix.

  We are ASU Student parents and our ASU graduate (older kid) now lives and works in Tempe. So we are down in the Valley a lot (we live in AZ about 3 hours north)! We also travel with our two dogs (who think they are human) and who love and miss our kids so much. To that end, we have often stayed in "pet-friendly" hotels, which is fine, but a pain especially when they want to go outside in the early morning and you don't want to get dressed and go outside that quickly. We used to think it was a "pain" to stay in a home rental due to having to strip beds, start a laundry load, etc. Well, it's not that bad, for one thing, I am a neat freak and always keep my hotel rooms clean and tidy (I never ask for maid service either). To that end my family and I (the boys stayed with us too) loved the home the minute we stepped in the door. So cute and clean. YES, it's not a super new home, but that's why it's a rental right? We just loved it. We all felt so at home and probably needed better instructions for how to watch regular programming on the TVs (sports), but we finally figured it out the morning we left! LOL. Smart TVs in all the HUGE bedrooms by way! Good Life AZ has great communication too. They told me to text them when I got in the house, I did, but they didn't respond. They did answer all of my emails though!! I am sure it's hard to respond to every text at all times. I had no issues so not an issue :). Great home, we will stay there again for sure! Oh, one more thing. It would be great to have had a Coffee machine that takes pods (we brought some) and maybe a simple toaster. Just a thought :). We can bring our coffee maker (pods) next time!
